    Most satisfying way to kill flies is still a 50c fly swat. Fly sprays are bloody useless.

    That might be just as good shooting Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking soda) and perhaps a little bit less corrosive, might even be cheaper too.

    They use baking soda to blast clean delicate objects and it's very effective! (have to say, I enjoy killing flies)

    I,d be put off eating my jelly once it had fragments of fly blasted into it.
    But that makes me wonder if sugar could be used in place of salt?
