Might of had something to do with the "Fuck Australia" Tee shirt an all the Tatts,,but when I came home from Oz I got turned over by NZ customs at the air port in a big way.
Then when we went to collect our container,,,the guy stood back an had a smoke while we unloaded it into the back of two double horse floats,,never even took a look at anything.
All the shit I could of bought home,,,but didn't![]()
See I was under the impression that if the battery was in the item you can bring it in. Batteries by themselves are a hit and miss affair.
I read it on eBay but that could be a genetic response.
Sent from one of those flashy touch thingies on a app dohicky
I routinely both deliver send out packages containing Lithium ion batteries. Mostly phones, tablets, and laptops bought online or items shipped back to owners. Also warrantee repair shipments etc. They all require a sticker identifying the presence of said battery and they mustn't be auctually in the device. Outbound, the same is required and as long as all the boxes are ticked and declarations made ion the commercial ( customs ) invoice, there shouldn't be a problem. Some shippers probably just cant be stuffed with the extra requirements and their shipping policies will reflect that. Try sending some home made cookies to the USA. That makes batteries a cake walk.

The link to that page says Why are some products not available in certain countries?

That was the page I was reading - NZ is listed under the section regarding the wifi products certification.
Further down the page is the discussion regarding the batteries - as USPS will no longer accept them, GoPro wil no longer ship any product containing a battery to the places listed. Most of the places listed are pretty small and other freight options aren't available.
