    The Barry Sheene Tasman Challenge

Well what more can 1 say about this Fantastic meeting other than it was 1 l will remember for a very long time regardless of the disgusting weather that everyone that was there had to put up with.
It's was so Awesome to see so many Classic/Post Classic Motorcycles & Sidecars there with the age group being between 14 to 99????, with the Racing being breath taking to watch.
And l must admit it was great to be around so many of my Aussie relatives who all seemed to enjoy themselves.
My Husband Russell (Alias rustys) was so excited to have finally had the opportunity to Race around Hampton Downs which you couldn't wipe the Huge smile of his face for those 3 days. Everytime he came back into the pits after his race had finished all you could see inside his Helmet was this Huge smile.
Even though l wasn't Racing there myself l did get the opportunity to walk the track on Sunday afternoon and all l could think about is 1 day l hope to be able to have the same opportunity that Russell did and get out there Racing.
The track surface and layout looked amazing.
Big thumbs up to all of those who made this meeting happen, You all know who you are.

You are right skip, the surface is excellent and the facility is slowly getting there development-wise aye. Was impressed how well the many different race classes all got on together as well, awesome meeting with some very very trick bikes being dusted off and dragged out.

Apart from the rain & the wind, myself & a friend that I got to help down there had a great time.
It was good to see the older guys out there giving it a crack.

On a side note .... in the Classic Sidecar group #74 was giving his all going around turn 1 on Monday arvo, crossed up 1/2 way through the corner .... was absolute madness
