    Games you played as kids

I went to go fix my dads computer tonight and found a game I used to play for ages as a kid. I had a bit of a strong christian family while I was there.

this is prior to me getting into real games.

    Im talking Frogger, solitare whatever.

here is a screenshot of the opening to the game:

    Yeah, forgot about bullrush.
What about scrag, a bit like bullrush but without any rules - just chase people and scrag them?

Hangman, Manic Miner and Tornado Low Level on the Sinclair!

We've still got the Sinclair all wrapped up in a garage cupboard - couldn't bear to part with it. 5 minute program load times from a tape player and you had to have the treble set just so or it wouldn't load. Our daughter started using it when she was 2 1/2 and she's 22 now!

Just another name for bullrush I think.I really enjoyed play outside with the neighbourhood kids, roaming the whole area on our pushbikes,we were gone all day in summer. My girls played out on the road with the local kids, but didn't go far without us....now my boys play computer games and every activity is done under adult supervision...bloody hell, they are BOYS for christs sake, where are the skinned knees, blood noses, the tales of scaling the cliffs like Tarzan down at the quarry, home made boats that sink.Society is doomed, boys play action games on a computer sigh.....

Mate, you should have tried it with a water filled tennis ball If you missed the thing would bounce around for ages- especially when it was thrown at 130+ km/h- and when it hit it damn near knocked you off your feet. Left a bruise sometimes too.

Bullrush. One of mankind's crowning achievements. Caters for all ages and abilities from the soft "touch" version to the full-contact, crash-tackle model. I can't believe that the politically correct soft-cocks amongst us want to ban this sport of kings.

Other classics included Tee-ball and the legendary Rubbishtin Rounders.

And don't forget card games (for those of us who were in their twenties at least before the PC and the video game were invented). Black Bitch, 500, Euchre...

And the always spectacular team strip version of mahjong...
