Mechanics' gloves?

So I used to go out to the shed and work all day and only wash up once. Now days with the Mrs & kids I seem to have to stop what I am doing several times a day and I am getting feed up with it.

Thinking a pair of mechanics gloves would be the go.

So anyone got any recommendations brand wise? Or us there fuck all difference between them.

I use 'em at work. None of them seem to last long. The tein one's were good, but expensive. I got some off sulco that seemed to last well, but they don't do those one's anymore. I'm just using powerbuilt ones at the mo, nice enough to use, but average quality. They are cheap tho...

I use riggers gloves, soft leather. I get a size smaller than normal, wet them wet, put them on and allow to dry on my hands. They last about 3 mths, and are comfortable. I am able to do all the ily work with one pair, and have a second and third pair for cleaning, and assembly of claen parts. The "feel" through them is good, and you casn still pick up small screws, washers etc .so sensitivity is good. $14pr.
