    Honda C50 1970 in Nelson

Hi, totally new to kb, and totally new to my Honda C50. Bought it sight unseen. Arrived yesterday from Chch. (Always wondered what my midlife crisis would look like.)
Does anyone know anyone in Nelson to help me get to know this quirky little machine?

I didn't really think this was a M-L-C! But the C50 makes me feel like a kid again... Now if only I can get it started!

    starting.....
    needs fuel (clean fuel)
    and spark.
Pull out sparkplug and ground it on metal part of bike(don't hold on to plug itself)
    kickstart and watch for spark....
If spark and no start loomk at fuel..
drain tank and carb...little bleedscrew at bottom of bowl.
    put in new fuel....clean airfilter
try again..use Start ya bastard (ether) in air intake if you got a spark.

    No spark...
    Sparkplug
    lead
clean magneto (metal bit that spins round on the crankshaft and generates a spark...
    if corroded no spark..

    Enjoy feeling like kid again
may lead to full blown addiction ...
