These are the best laser jammers available.
They use real laser diodes, not cheap infra-red LEDs like most jammers.

Dual kit with external speaker accessory kit (this is necessary if you want to connect 3.5mm jack for earphones, bluetooth etc).
Purchased 2 months ago, this has the latest version CPU and sensors. Don't buy the jammers off trade me or sella - they're outdated versions.
Cost me over NZ$800 with shipping from USA, although I see they're now doing a special on the speaker kit.

The best prevention is the speedo.
When the indicated speed exceeds the speed limit then the risk of getting a ticket is real.
Before then the risk is alot less.

Never owned a jammer or detector. Sum total of 20 years riding would pay for half a detector or jammer.

To operate any equipment that impairs the use of police speed detection / measurement devices?

I mean, say you're flying down the motorway and the police check your speed with Lidar and the speed reads zero or whatever happens when it encounters your "jammer" You'll still get stopped and they will inspect your bike and tivket you for operating something that interferes with Lidar, right?

Yes. One of the reasons I never put it on my bike. If you're a nutcase that regularly likes to ride at illegal speeds though, it's probably worth it.

No. It still allows the Lidar to get a speed reading, it just delays it for a while. The actual scenario is this:
You're "flying" along at a deadly speed of 125 or something after passing a truck and the laser interceptor system starts screaming in your ear. Within the next 5 seconds you safely return to a non-deadly speed of 105, at which time the laser interceptor automatically stops jamming and allows the Lidar to read your speed at 105. No reason to pull you over.
The 5 second delay is adjustable to be as short or long as you want it.

If you were stupid enough to be riding at double the speed limit past a patrol car then yes, it's going to be bloody obvious you were speeding and you'll (quite rightly) get pulled over and given a ticket anyway.

Agreed, but a nice piece of electronics like this (and/or a radar detector) is very helpful for choosing when to take that risk.
