Thanks mate. Due of the overwelming positive responses and advise offered on this thread (and because I talked Webjet into accepting a copy of my yank DL and a power bill with my address on it) I booked with them and got one way flight for 2 people Ak to Fanganui for $226 all up. Air NZ wants nearly $400.
    Yay for me!!!

So that will be with Jetstar. just make sure you're not late to check in. They take no prisoners. You can web boarding pass a couple of days before & print it out yourself. Other than that you are often lining up with a few million others to get a boarding pass which can make you late. Can't remember if they have kiosks yet (like ANZ do), which I should be able to get a minds eye picture as I was there 5 days ago, think I saw them (maybe white & red boxes) but I wasn't looking, having a web printed one in my hand.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

    Nope, Air NZ
The price with ANZ I mentioned was if I booked directly with them on their website. I did look at Jetstar (and I am aware of their shitty rep) and they are cheap enough but the closest they could get me to Wangers is Wellington.

I've always had to provide passport for flights via travel agents, webjet, airline direct... yes yes yes they keep letting me into the country (NZ)

Even have to provide photo ID (pic in full bike gear frowned upon) flying Brissie to Melb, yet not visa versa.

If looking at Webjet flight/price, do you have to quote it to airline to price match?
