    1982 Yamaha XV 750

    Hi,
I am selling my shaft driven XV 750 as we are leaving overseas in early March 2013.

The bike is in really good condition, flies through warrants without problems.
I have built sissy bar with carrier, plus falling frame with extended footpegs. I still have the original hold for pillion passenger.

I have replaced engine oil, shaft oil, breaking fluid, oil and air filter, have spare front break pads. Rear tire is brand new, the front one is not new but still fine. The WOF and registration are till March.

The flywheel was restored before I bought the bike, (almost 3 years ago) I have replaced idle gears and springs of the bendix (starter clutch). I have replaced regular liquid battery with dry one for big block bikes so there is always lots of energy to get the bike going. I also replaced stock starter with 4 brush starter which has a bit more power.
I have all the paperwork since I bought the bike. She rides really nice an smooth even with two people and fully loaded. She has lots of power. My partner and I cruised all over North Island and planned to do South Island over Christmas but I have broke my left wrist and won't be able to ride, bugger.

I am not sure if you familiar with early models of Viragos and their starters but they have slight starting problems. Saying that I did some work on it (mentioned above) and now the bike starts every time. Maybe not the quietest start but she will surely kick in. I can explain it later.

Bike comes with fabric saddle bags, another bag to strap on the back rack.
I am selling two AGV helmets as well but as separate listing. There are leather beer holders which I brought with me from Europe but the can stay on the forks.
I also have printed Haynes Owners workshop manual which will go with the bike. Its for all models of XVs (535-1100).

We loved the bike and loved cruising on her but unfortunately she needs to go to a new good home.
