My Laps transponders available from AMCC

AMCC have purchased 100 My Laps Transponders for the use of AMCC members.

We have two options available but we're open to other reasonable suggestions.

1. Yearly hire of the transponder for $150 + GST ($172.50). We will register it in your name and can be used at any My Laps timing event such as
AMCC club championships, Tri-series, NZRRC, Paeroa, Vic Club, PMCC etc. hence will recover the hire cost in about 5 race days.

2. Single day hire at $25 (incl. GST) for any My Laps timing event.

For the yearly hire, we will need a bond of $50 and signing of a suitable lease agreement.

Its an investment the club has made to try and make transponder hire cheaper for the masses.
As has been aluded to hiring them normally isnt cheap and this is a way of making them more affordable for riders on a annual or race by race (day) basis.

What a fantastic initiative AMCC...

Being that it is one of the larger external expenses for racing; this is bloody great that a club has viewed it as an opportunity to support their members.

MNZ should have brought a bulk lot like 7 or so years ago onsold at cost/ offered as part of race license.

Good investment by the AMCC . Probably the only club in the country with enough money to afford to do this.

Dam expensive things to buy one of . I'm guessing that part of the agreement with Mylaps is you aren't allowed to onsell these?
