A motorcycle running on compressed air has recorded speeds in excess of 80mph.
The O2 Pursuit was designed by Dean Benstead, a graduate of RMIT University, in Melbourne, Australia. Based around a Yamaha WR250R frame, it is fitted with a compressed-air engine, powered by a standard scuba-diving tank. It can travel over 60 miles to a single tank.
The O2 Pursuit has been shortlisted for a James Dyson award.
