And a nicer more straight up guy you'll never meet. Funny how Kevin wants us to say it to Sauns face. I did as best as I could. He told me he was coming down to beat me up. I'm still waiting. Looking forward to it in fact.

I have known Shaun for a long time on a personal level and am probably in about the best position to comment. He has certainly had issues of personality with many people and I can understand why some may not count him among their friends.

Not knowing the full story I cannot comment on claims of lying and stealing made here and doubt Shaun will pop in to refute or clarify them. I have found him to be straight up and open with me and he has calmed down a lot over the past months, recognising what he needs to address and concentrate on. He lost everything with his accident, including his mind and anyone who knows about major trauma and head injuries will know what I'm talking about. He very nearly lost his family and has had to knuckle down and change and work very hard.

Yes, he was an "angry Ginger" or more accurately had a short fuse, and at odds with many people but he is changing, calming down and accepting what he needs to do to recover.

He has achieved a lot in his life despite disadvantages and has inspired many. He ain't perfect, none of us are, and maybe we could all reflect on how many we have rubbed up the wrong way and defended ourselves by claiming they got the wrong end of the stick about us?

I actually asked my GP to prescribe speed for me so I could drop a bit of weight. He said his practice does not do that Never occured to me to get it on the street

    Here is the emotional bit.

Shaun Harris is a fucking legend - about 10 NZ titles and TWO IOMTT TITLES

Thousands of people have tried to win one of those fuckers and hundreds have died trying - It took Shaun about 10 years to win TWO and he NEARLY died trying for more.

IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH HIM GO AND TALK TO HIM - DON'T SLAG HIM OFF ON THE FUCKING INTERWEBB

98% OF PEOPLE WHO POST IN THIS FORUM WOULD HAVE TO STAND ON THERE MOTHERS SHOULDERS JUST TO KISS HIS ARSE !!!

Any IOMTT winners out there need anything - just ask me and I'll see what I can do.
    You sound easily impressed.

Really? Hes burned plenty of bridges in NZ. Ask they guy that gave him a car last time he was out, never took it back and made not contact and the thing was found a month later at the wellington airport car park with the keys in it, a long way from Palmy too

Tell me more. If you're saying Bruce did that...I'll happily hit him up about it. PM me the facts if you'd rather. Be sure to give the name and contact details of the 'car owner' too though eh.

The chances of it blowing up would be about the same with him or me riding it - the chances of it crashing a lot LESS with him riding it - Didn't cost me anything - and probably saved me some dough 'cause I checked the warrant and rego on the van !

I wasn't going to buy into this thread at all but I know Bob and he asked a straightforward question (for which had a straightforward answer)

Shaun has been in the bike racing game for a long time so finding a few people who have him on their "get fucked" list wouldn't be to difficult.

I've only known Shaun for about 4 years but have had a bit of personal and business dealings with him - he has always been straight up.

Im not that easily impressed. in fact I beat Shaun at Baypark on an older bike some 25 years ago.
Im not slagging him off on the internet, im merely pointing out facts that are just that, FUCKING FACTS.
Hey, Ive got Dave Molyneaux, 16 times sidecar IOM TT winner on fuckin speed dial, I dont kiss his arse, I speak to him man to man about a common interest, & if he was a dishonest tool, id have nothing to do with him.
Seriously dude, youre a fuckin top bloke, but merely winning any paticular race, does no in itself earn respect of any sort.
Knowingly wronging another is a concious choice, for which there are few excuses.

Okay craig, the keys for said car were dropped of to me as Bruce and Annie were on there way to the airport and it was parked at a supermarket in paraparaumu I collected it and returned it 2 weeks later when time and getting a lift home from palmy allowed,so please get your facts straight.
