    Awesome! NSR250 SP/SE

    Rare NSR 250 SP/SE.

A VERY fast 250, and it runs beatifully (like the day it was made...I know...because I know! lol)

Dry clutch, large race chambers, showa shock (adjustable). Surprizingly advanced technology in this bike for it's era, and it's so so much FUN

Not road legal (fresh import) but can be complied and rego'd by new owner no problem if they want to (I was going to race the little beast but circumstance's changed)

Some cracks/breaks in fairing's, but fully functional.

Fresh oil/fluids, chain and sprockets are good, brand new tyres. All electric's/lights etc are fine.
Please PM me for genuine enquiry's
    Cheers
    Vicki.

    Oh DAMN! JHA chambers?

I can tell you that i have no intention of buying this bike (only because I don't have the money) but this thread deserves a bump.

You are a person of fine taste, and I hope the bike goes to someone fully deserving

Can you take it to Auckland so I can have a look at the bike?
Not gonna buy (no resource consent from the wife/accountant), but I really want to have a look at it.

    Just....once....please...?

    Thank you

I'm not sure if the chambers are JHA as well, I would have to pull them off to search for a branding, but I have been told you can no longer buy these ones.

I'll be sad to see it leave the garage ...yes she does deserve a special home.

I would suspect the fairings are original....they look about 20 years old, and have been repaired at some stage of their life. According to all the engine number checks I have found on the web...it could be either and SP or SE, they do not clarify the different models very well. But since as you seem to know so much...maybe you can find out for sure? SE or SP have no difference at all except the rims.

inside the side fairing there is normally a moulding stamp stating the date the fairings were made, would maybe help?

Yeah, those aren't SP rims, but it has the dry clutch, so assuming the suspension checks out I'd say it's an SE. Given the wheels are black, and it's a 92, then that lines up too. The MC21 Rothmans was an SP in 1993 that and the rims was what made me wonder OEM fairing is a big bonus... that's worth repainting over the Chinese fairings for sure.

I've run out of places to put bikes, but it's still tempting. Powder coat the rims white, remove the tank pad, rego it, and ask for 6

Cheers, I was told it's a 92 or 93, the shop wasnt sure. The rims are definately not the lightweights, but they could have been removed/swapped at some stage, Im told they are worth a fortune now and people tend to sell them off. Ive done all the homework I can to work out which model it is, even checking engine numbers etc, but everything still points to either/or lol. The fairings appear OEM, as they have been repaired at some stage, and certainly look 20 years old. It is poss a 93, I will hunt inside the fairings and see if I can find a DOM
