I've seen worse.
Mine in Tauranga looked similar before I completely rebuilt it.
And my sister had no kitchen for 12 years (!!) She had a room, with a BBQ parked in it, an old sink propped up on sticks, and everything else was in the bathroom or bedroom.Oh and holes in the floor that the rats used to pop their heads up through.
In the end she got really pissed off, saved up some money, and when my bro-in-law returned from one of his (very frequent) overseas trips, there was suddenly a kitchen where there'd previously just been a void.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
