    That's the thing about Suzuki's ... any aftermarket stuff you get for them ... is always better than the original bit ...

    Yeah, Yoshimura parts are usually better than the stock item.

    The bits they make for your bike are quite a bit better too.

    Yes and no....think of it as a donor bike - the missing standard bits have hopefully gone to help someone's restoration.

    Personally, i don't like some of the alterations - these things should be done sympathetically so as to retain the character of the original bike.

    On the other hand the world is not short of GS1000's - there are still plenty of stockers out there.
