    My experience certainly has been that IE users get more viruses. That said, the demographic for IE users vs others is different, so possibly this plays a part...

    IE is so f*ing shit.
    have M$ done away with the "internet options" in paint's help menu yet?

    microsoft software is written by highly paid software engineers, geeks and lamers.

    linux is written by the people that hack microsoft software.

    i know where i'd rather not spend money.

    Meh, the other browsers have vulnerabilities too. Search for them and you'll find much more recent than that Feb 2011 article. Here's one from October this year http://arstechnica.com/security/2012...hacking-prize/

    The only reason I'd suggest not using IE is because some shopping sites have algorithms that match the price to who they think you are. Usually the assume ie users are less IT savy and/or have higher incomes so they display a higher price. But that's nothing to do with the browsers capability.

    Am running Chrome now, to compare with IE9. KB forums haven't got any better.

    that's a server side issue, largely caused by BKC input errors (or stupidity)

    ...the orbiting lasers are just waiting to be re-tasked to put em down.

    Well have finally installed Chrome... fuck me, million times faster than IE(i think mine is 8 cos I still on XP)... IE used to hog all resources and some i didn't have... oh happy days again
