My Mum has an SV650, although it's the 2009 model which means twin spark plug head. Is this going to be a major issue? Will it really be much slower? Also, it has done a fair number of Kms too. Around 30,000 I think. If anybody knows anyone that would be okay to loan me an engine or anything like that, please let me know!!
Nah, the twin pluggy is fine mate - just swap fairings etc over as Chops said, as the airbox / injectors are different on the later models.

This years Nationals saw nothing between the pro twin bikes which was great. It was all down to rider skill basically. I doubt there's much difference power wise between truly stock SV's so grab your old lady's and come have some fun bro!
