It's into the bike shop this week for a well earned rest.
Hey Paul I'm glad you're still in the land of the living mate, looked like a close call that one.

So is the bike 'finally' getting that long-awaited restoration work done?? :hbd:

well yes, have to agree with that one. Lucky for me Draco was taking it easy due to injury, so had some company on the road... however a bit disheartening when I cant stay with Quasi when he's got a pillion
However enjoyed blowing out the cobwebs (been 6 months since I joined a KB ride)

Some fine machinery on view - never seen so many thou's on a ride!

    Thanks death/loose for organising
...and I don't wanna die, just want to ride my motorcy...cle (Arlo Guthrie)

Fuckin hell, Quas you havn't been following me since Sunday have you. I know the pose I struck in the air looked sexy, But (note the use of one T) you'll have to stick to your fembot.

Yeah that was mine at Cyclespot. Looks like it might be a write off if Ins company agree with Cyclespots pricing. Hell of a way to get a new set of tyres.

Should have it out at Puke on Saturday so here's hoping I stay sunny side up.

why were you up there yesterday? And more to the point, why didn't you come to say hi?! I'm 2 minutes up the road from there..

motobob, what was needed to repair it? I thought it was mostly fairings stuff..?? The frame isn't damaged, is it..?? Make sure you're not been taken for a ride..

Bugjuice since when is getting a new bike being taken for a ride and I have 1st option on the wreck. Cyclespot want to ensure that all damaged parts are replaced as the bike is less than 12 months old (only 3900km). This is fair and they could presumably get it repaired under the write off cut off point by using repaired parts and make more money than supplying a new bike.

The price of the body work is extorsionate and a fair few other bunch of parts are scratched.

We will have to see what the Assessor agrees to or rather will not agree to. At the moment one road and one track bike has an appeal. Thats if the frame is straight of course. Find that out on Saturday at Puke. Whoops wish I hadn't thought of that now.

Thanks for the help Quasi. Head was in a bit of a spin at the time. The bike had earlier damage rather than later. Or I hope the Cyclespot guys aren't having crashing comps on it.

I trust the award comes with a yearly VIP pass for two at Showgirls. Since I've been tits up.
