Finished off Outlast last night during the storm. Wow what a ending, took me by surprise. Just wish the story went a little more in depth at the end. The final boss wasn't that scary either but it was awesome when he sucked that big cunt through the aircon vent.

Man it's sweet having a PC again!

Shogun 2 and War Thunder time!

Any news on when they're gonna bring out the tanks for it?

Having another play around with Kerbal Space Program, even though it is still in alpha and has a few bugs it's bloody neat (and cheap at about 20bucks a copy). People have written mods allowing you to fly construction and mining equipment to other planets, building from low gravity wells opens up some possibilities...

We are kicking off an Aussie/NZ gaming forum if anyone is interested http://cobragaming.net.au/index.php? good way to enhance multi-player games and we will probably get our own server thingos for a few... Quite a few steam key giveaways up for grabs atm.

Gave Battlefield 4 beta a go. FPS is fairly inconsistent, sits on 60 some of the time, dipping to 15 other times. Feels very similar to BF3 other than that. Apparently the feature of using your tablet as a map is quite cool.

Just hope this one is scrimmable.

It has been referred to as BF3.1, ie BF3 with commander mode, there are some tweaks you can do to get more stable FPS or fix errors or some shit, see post 11 http://cobragaming.net.au/topic/729-battlefield-4/

We'll find a way, if we can scrim in PS2, BF3.1 should prove no challenge...

Have yet to get it myself, but will get it on release if CGN gets a server.

got BF4 (BF3.1) on pre-order. I did notice the BETA but because I didn't purchase it from Origin I couldn't participate....pretty shit really.

Yussss! I discovered that game earlier in the year. Wayyyyy more entertaining than you'd think eh. Just wish the time lapse went faster.

Yeh same here, not that I was keen for beta anyway. CGN just got a 70 slot server, so that'll keep the plebs under control. Also pledged for Avenger on Star Citizen, cos I am keen for the alpha/beta modules as they come in.

They just put out a big update, science and tech tree as well as performance upgrades. Not a huge number of mod packs have made it into the tech tree yet though.

AC3 I wasn't that impressed with, Black Flag does look good though; FC3 is one of the standout single player titles of late so it'll be a hard act to follow.

The voice of yesterday's 'modern' society eh, where it is socially acceptable to blob out in front of the telly, but those wishing to partake in the more stimulating and social gaming are seen to be lacking in maturity, kind of ironic don't you think?

I'm with you on AC3 but FC3 I'm finding pretty mediocre so far, just seems like they've taken FC2 & added RDR's herb & animal harvesting.

I found they hit the sandbox mark really well, heaps of options to achieve a mission, like lighting grass fires, stealthy arrow attacks, letting animals loose etc. The excellent graphics and crazy storyline helped too.
