One of a kind YZF 600 Thundercat

ONE OF A KIND Yamaha YZF 600 Thundercat.
This is a 1997 YZF 600F Thundercat. A nice tidy, good all rounder for either commuting or weekend fun.
Rego on hold as I have not been riding the bike in winter. I brought it with me from South Africa and it’s time to part company (Unfortunately) as I don’t seem to be using it as often as I should. The Bike has been serviced every 10,000km religiously in SA. Since arriving in NZ I have serviced it every year (September) – not this year though.
Note the chromed frame & swing-arm – I had to have an engineer’s report to get it registered in NZ.
Braided front & back brake hoses.
Both front & back tires about 10 00km (bought last year) as can be seen per pictures.
A brand new K & N airfilter fitted last year.
    Akrapovic full exhaust system fitted.
Sprocket & Chain in good condition (only set once since fitment).
Welcome to come view the bike. As it is unlicensed no “test ride”, but more than welcome to start up!

Brings tears to my eyes to sell, so please no chancers! If I don’t get my price, NO SALE!

Am I missing something here? that's very expensive for what it is. there are hundreds of better bikes on trademe for almost half that price.

Example 9 years newer, half the km's and with rego/WOF. If you want the bike sold, drop the price.... A lot.

Yeah, looks to me like one of those "wife says I have to get rid of it, so sure it's on trademe dear!" and has no intention of selling it. It's a nice bike, but at 7500 there's an awful lot of choice out there.

Best of luck on the sale though! Those thundercat's are pretty nifty.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

7.5K for a 15 year old bike and you want to sell it with no test rides. Good service history and polished frame aint worth all that buddy. Good luck with the sale though.

If the price is too high, don't buy it...

But if it does sell for $7.5k, I'm listing my ZX at $8k
