Facebook - Big Brother is watching you

To all my FB friends, may I request you to please do something for me: I want to stay PRIVATELY connected with you. However, with the recent change in FB the public can now see activities in any wall. This happens when our friend hits "like" or "comment", automatically, their friends would see our posts too. Unfortunately, we cannot change this setting by ourselves because Facebook has configured it this way.

So I need your help. Only you can do this for me.
PLEASE place your mouse over my name above (do not click), a window will appear, now move the mouse on “FRIENDS" (also without clicking), then down to "Settings", click here and a list will appear. REMOVE the CHECK on "COMMENTS & LIKE" and also "PHOTOS" by clicking on each one. By doing this, my activity amongst my friends and my family will no longer become public. Many thanks! Paste this on your wall so your contacts will follow suit too, that is, if you care about your privacy.

Thanks again. Once I see this posted on your page I will do the same for you!

Yip, I could txt them instead.

Don't hardly use Facebook myself, think it's crap, but those who do are getting worried about privacy. Not really surprised.

    Facebook = Stalker's paradise.

The cops seem to like it too. Makes their job sooooo much easier

Thankfully I have never used it. Seems a bit off though people posting stuff on the interweb and then getting aggrieved when they find out they don't have any privacy.

    Duh.....

Facebook. The worlds largest database. Creepy

Some people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them.

We've had workers sacked for Facebook stuff. Apparently privately calling your boss a complete caaaaaaant on Facebook is not unacceptable

Big brother CAN watch you on facebook.

Unless you actually do something worthy, they probably have better things to do.

As for stalkers, privacy settings can be made so all they see is your name, and avatar.

Facebook is just a big ole' bunch of rant and rave with psuedo bling in the guise of 'I like'
Why would ''big brother'' even bother?

Yes, you are right. Provided you have no friends and if you do, none of those have friends, so you should be just fine.

Oh and of course your friends own privacy settings will also affect your potential to exposure too.

Oh and provided Facebook doesn't keep changing its privacy configuration settings.

Oh and remember to choose your friends wisely and also ask your friends not to hook up with acquaintances and also choose their friends wisely.

Oh and of course everyone is a Facebook privacy expert and always checks their configuration settings, so you're nice and safe.

Facebook is not secure at all. Don't go posting information and photographs you are not happy for anyone and everyone to see.

So when you sign up for a new account with a web site, what do you do when filling out the details like name and email address, even physical address? Whether it's a shopping site or a social networking site?
