My one was on a closed urban road, complete with curbing, lamposts, and buildings with no protection 10 feet from the road, on a circut no longer used. No tortoise shells required back then, in fact if you wanted one you imported it at high cost.

That we are, and have seen the end results of a workmate hitting a u turning car at 50k on a recently restored Norton, was not pretty (he did recover eventually), but then he was doing the speed limit so you can't blame speed.
Would have thought you may have learnt more from this actually.
So far in over 30 years on the road I am yet to hit another moving vehicle, it's called driving to the conditions, being aware of where you are and concentrating on what you are doing.
And yet you high five this person of speed cause apparently it isn't speed that is the problem. it is only a problem when you hit someone in a car or a solid object.
