its a sidecar, I can see no reason as to why the motor will need to come out.

Everything is braced back to that chunk of pipe. There is diagonal support from the chair hub mounts down to the pipe.

Bottom line, if shit goes tits up enough to bend that pipe then the damage to everything else would be catastrophic anyway.
