If it's doing that it will probably be external to the engine ...

No, if the spark is weak then you get exactly the symptoms you describe. The higher the revs and the more throttle then the more pressure the spark has to fire through, so WOT at high revs is exactly where you start to notice it. Can be caused by dodgy coils, Leeds, almost anything ignition related.

Edit: 'course it could also be starving... got an in-line fuel filter in there somewhere?
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

I'm gonna see if Bryce has a TPS the same as what's on there, they're fairly generic I understand.

Will also be getting a flue pressure gauge on there, and perhaps a manually adjustable regulator.

He's making more sense than most of what I came up with.

By electrical I'm guessing people mean sensor related, rather than an electrical fault. Either way, it wouldn't get progressively worse through each day normally.

Without a dash things are of course, more difficult.
sponge bob had by the sound of it the very same problem and i think will have to check with him he got it sorted and put a new fuel pump on it

Yip, I had the same problem too........

So I put more air in the rear tyre - it spun so much, reduced the load on the engine and stopped the mis.......

    Couple 'a questions...

When it slows do you see a change in plug colour ? Have you looked yet ?

If no change it's probably electrical, and yes, a coil swap is the first place to start although in my experience kawa coils are usually pretty reliable - unless they've been cooked by leaving the ignition on....

If it goes lean on the plugs, is there a bag filter on the injection pump pickup ? When was that looked at or any inline filter too....

Plugs look like new after about four sessions of running.

Haven't checked the filter yet. Taking this week off from the chair, so as to keep some semblance of sanity.
