Add to that, he had the chain so tight it broke an engine mount brace. At least, I can't see another way it could have gotten over loaded.
Assuming of course, that it wasn't like that when he got it.
Drew mate we love your attention to mechanical details, so are we going to see some pictures on this thread or are you going to start a new chair thread and show us your engineering skills there?

Somethings just can't be helped. Motor is now in pieces beside the chair getting put back to as stock as I can make it without splitting the cases and investigating what's going on in there.
Sump was baffled at least...by leaving the gasket paper over hanging an inch and a half into the sump all the way around. Qulaity.
Very special, with no markings or evidence they're different to standard at all.

But I dare say that there's every chance I'll peg it back too many gears at some point with the button shifter, and that would be the end of it all
