    That's real cool!

I'm interested to pick your brains about how the R6 shock is at Tokoroa.
I plan to give it a try with mine, which is also MC18 framed, I think it has a good chance of working well.
Experimenting with it is being held up by me not getting a new pip finished, the current one is close to the bottom of the swingarm and is stopping me raising the rear as the bike so desperately needs. (I also have a 17 on the back.)

So ,had our race debut and have to say I`m pretty happy with it first time out with minimal setup.
Rear tyre was 10 years old and would not ball up and work properly, also had some carb issues which I hope will be sorted for Taumaranui.

Tyre has already been changed for a near new Pirelli SC1 - should be a vast improvement in the back end .

Suspension was better than I thought it would be - front was magic and shock worked really well with the honda linkage letting it travel through its stroke without being harsh at all.

    PMCC RD4 Taupo

I thought i would give the Bucket a run on the big track (Taupo 2) - had a great time at round 2

Managed a PB of 1:25.8 in qualifying but it came at a price.....

Stoopid me forgot to change to a colder spark plug so by lap five of practice the plug electrodes had melted which started the dreaded Detonation

That resulted in a siezed piston which I figured to be no big drama as I have a spare in stock....................

Then I took the barrel off and noticed a funny line across the bottom gasket face

So, need to make a new barrel for the GP as well as finish the 50 - That detonation is powerful stuff eh !!
