    Hi Farmaken, Did you leave the oil pump on the engine or are you using premix? I'm putting a tf125 into an rg250 frame at the moment (will start a build thread soon).

    Will be at Tokoroa but running my Honda. Suspect the rg/tf will be rolling by then so will bring it along so you can have a looksie.

    The new barrel had sex with the piston....
    Turns out it was an air leak as suspected - the original carb mount/ inlet duct has been cut off the barrel and filled with devcon but in my haste to get the new barrel done I can't have cleaned the port properly before the Devcon went in. Was ok until it got hot for the first time then started leaking.....
    and after several laps of cutting in and out it seized on the inlet side. Could not work that out when I first pulled the barrel but the air leak and seize are in the same place

    Problem has been fixed by welding an alloy plate into the port over the Devcon so should be cured

    oh well there is always next year as we say lol in my case always had some silly things go wrong like the wheel bearing giving up at foxton with 3 laps to go in 3thd place or a wire breaking leading it at taupo .. now the dam body giving up . got a exersize machine now
