    Air cooled NSR cylinder

I was gifted an nsr250 cylinder with damage from worn power valves and flakey plating - thanks Rob. Initially intended to try and replicate the port and duct layout in a mudbug cylinder, but then on a wet weekend I got a bit loose with the disc grinder and Tig welder.

Holy shit. That cylinder looks like a torture victim! I applaud your enthusiasm Ken. Pretty keen to see how it works out for you. In the mean time, how about I ride your current bike?

Man I wish I could weld.
I seem to remember Yow ling has a finned RGV250 cylinder on an RG bottom end, might be worth talking to him about what they did and if it worked out. Remember the NSR has a 54mm stroke so you'll probably have to raise the bottom of your transfer ports. I loved the old (MC21) NSR's, they were absolute tractors compared to the RGV's.
