Good to see Jake is fast from the outset. Hopefully Sam and Connor work together to improve their times.

    Superpole

Davis got a last lap in by 1 sec and was down by 1/10 being followed by Sykes but had to pull out of a corner. Fanyastic superpole. Sykes got pole again but sadly I dout he will be infront on the sec lap as normal.

Nah, it's just an awkward start. They have the Phillip Island Round at the end of Feb, then the next round isn't until half way through April....madness.

The future Mrs Melandri was back I see Spud.
    Great to have her back.

I hope the racing perks up a bit after that big gap between Rd1 and Rd2. Seemed a little flat to me too. Couple of leading slip offs and breakdowns didn't help. Like to see Checa get going on the new bike.

That's if he can get it going properly with the air intake restrictions, oh, and avoid those pesky wasps.

Yeah me too, but I reckon they kinda figured the 1199 might be a work in progress. The 1198 had what, nearly 30 years of evolution from the first 750 desmoquattro's back in '86-ish, so starting with a clean sheet of paper was always going to be a big ask.

Biaggi was a big personality and a big presence on track too, so it's gonna take a while for the reshuffled deck to sort itself out. We need a new black hatted bad guy to pop outta the woodwork (carbon fibre?)

Don't have Sky.................therefore can't watch any SBK.........................untill a few days after the race. Sad panda.

Wet, cold conditions... That’s like writing about NZ at the moment.

Jake’s qualified 12th in the EJC; Sam Lowes is on pole again in Supersport with Sofuoğlu and Foret nipping at his heels; and in the big boys’ class, Tom Sykes is on pole again as well.

We're here lurking cmoore, I think 9.30pm tonite is the start time on sky?

Losing Gp's from sky seems to have quietened things down on KB.
I'm sure the hard core will pop up soon ?
