How very cool Suga, what exactly does your boy do?
Cheers for the comments all.
Although I read the book a long time ago, I'm quite sure it explained how Golum got the ring in the 1st place, the movie seems in a different order, though I may be wrong.
Yeah mate, pm me your number, and we will make it happen. I gget down that way quite often.
Here is his reel, 8 months out of date now though, but gives you an idea. He really likes modeling, but for the Hobbit, was working in the "Shots" department on lighting n that.

I also missed out on playing marbles, skateboards, disco and most of other popular trend type things.
No idea why as I also never had any issues with any of those things.
Just march to my own tune and always have.
The little I have seen of LOTR ect I do see why their very popular but while other people are watching it I'll be fishing, hunting, riding my bikes, beach combing with my dogs in the search for ambergris,,or going to work.
I like to see myself as a doer of things that result in a physical or financial return and have an outdoors component.
So where other people are watching things,,I'm doing them or I have an interest based on having done them.
I also live on a pretty restrictive budget so the $50 it would cost me to go into the city and watch a movie would also allow me to drive over to the Firth of Thames with my Kayak on my ute an catch enough fish to last my family a week.
So you see I'm not really that strange,,,just constantly broke![]()

Yeah .. I read the books again about every 10 years or so .. I watched the first LOTR movie thinking "brilliant movie - well done. It captures the whole Tolkein thing. Why don't I enjoy it as much as I know I should?"
And then I worked out - it was a brillaint movie, extremely well done - but I knew what was going to happen the whole way - no surprises in the story, I knew the plot, I knew the lot ...
I've never seen the second two LOTR movies -I am sure they are brilliant ... tho' I might just go and see The Hobbitt.

I thought it was the Silmarilion that told the story of Gollum....but hey im getting older too.
Man , in that book & the Book of Lost Tales you have a history as complex & as deep as the Bible, & way cooler stories....A way better creation myth.
The Heart is the drum keeping time for everyone....
Fuck!...I hear theres two more movies to come?....how to milk a Hobbit![]()
