That's nice but ever since I was about 5, I used to drool over most Ferraris (specially the Testarossa and the F40 back then), so a Ferrari is something special to me. Then of course a Ferrari sound is the most distinctive and beautiful, whether its a V8 or a V12.

The Exige would probably piss all over most Ferrari's but at the end of the day, it just ain't as special, sorry. Why do people like Harleys or Ducatis? It's the same thing.

The F40 is carbon fibre body with even the amount of paint applied measured to reduce weight. It only comes with one layer of paint.

Hmmm...have ridden in a Contach (spelling? can't be arsed checking...apologies etc.) when I was about 17 (funny, haven't been asked since...) and it was low, low, low to the ground (that's about all I recall - oh, and not too spacious inside, hate to have to put the girly-weekend-shopping-gear in there!). I was wearing a skirt (ah...it all starts to come clear now...) and I had to sit on the ground then LIFT myself into the car so as not to bare all...

but it went fast. Very very fast. Ohhh...so fast. We liked we did. Still think it looks like a cockroach though - so wouldn't want one myself.

If petrol hadn't hiked up, I was considering purchasing a Dodge Viper. Yummy, sexy car. Curves, sounds good, looks good, and goes fast. *sigh*

Dont' like the TVR - it has an ugly arse (yes, these things matter).

But watch Top Gear and love it when they do the sports car episodes...mmmmmm. (where's the drooling smiley?)

My mum once dated a guy who had a TVR 390SE (looks like the 350, but had slight engine mods), and he used to rebuild the V8 every few thousand miles. Went like fukin stink, and he was good at powerslides and drifting.. First time I had a ride in it, I calmly sat there, while he tried to make me wince. Didn't really work. After 30 mins of mind-blowing driving, he turned and said 'of all the people I've had in the car, half of what we did would have scared the shit out of them..'. My theory is, you get scared, cos you might crash. Well this guy loved his car and knew how to drive it, so I felt that he wasn't going to crash it, so I had nothing to be scared of.

2 months later, he was pulling out of a junction and gave it too much gas. The car span 4 times, mounted a curb and smacked into a wall, twisting the chassis in the event. The car was a write off. Guess my theory sucks a little.. shame, was a nice car. At the time, he investigated (cos the ins was screwing him), and there were 13 TVR 290SEs left in the world. not any more..

Nah, nothing like it, looks like an AC Cobra/MX5 Mazda/1955 Ferrari rolled into one, a 1950's f'glass kit-car.

    Got 302 V8 & 5 speed.

PM me IF you want to know more. I'm off to work.
