Stopped two "speeders" this week

Lived in DH for 11 years - 6 of those rode to town weekdays. After the first year we NEVER went on the road weekends unless it was an emergency. Simply too bloody dangerous with rubberneckers looking over the edge rather than at the road.

Basically I got tired of picking up damaged riders and reporting car accidents.....

Given all the attention the Akaroa ride gets I'm really surprised we never saw any popo prescence around the harbour.

Same when I lived in little river,,,,and holidays , was a nightmare
I'm very tempted to make an offer on the house we rented , by the wharf where the ferry stopped, next to the medical centre
I did a lot of pulling over ....
