Question How do I identify parts for selling?

Over the years while collecting parts for the trumpy, I've ended up with 'extras'.
I'd like to get rid of a few of the girder forks. They're pretty basic. I suspect a few BSA & maybe a Norton.
So, is there a method for differentiating between brands/models?
I'd like to stick them on eBay & have some idea of what I'm talking about.

    Any advice appreciated

    cheers

Put some photos up and I'm sure somebody will help you out. I can spot an Indian part a mile away.

    There's a good signature...

Easy, take pictures of one list it on Trade Me, say they are off a Vincent or Brough Superior ,price accordingly, sit back and wait for the correct answer. Ebay of course would give you a wider panel of judges.

Ok... this seems to be a dead end (haha)...

I'll think I'll weld them all together, call it "Vintage Motion" & flog it off to a yuppie with too much money.

Just put them on E Bay with an exorbitant price (on the grounds that they're rare) and see what happens ... Those that know what they want ... will know what they're looking at.
