Done, its not a long way, but when you get 20+ bikes on a group ride, it can the best part of the day to ride 330 kms.

I'd be quite keen to come. Not been on a ride longer then an hour or two. Would love to give it a shot

Always a Learner/Newbie friendly ride, which is why we stop more often.
The lunch stop is for an hour or so, takes a bit to feed 20+ people. We normally get reserved tables set aside so getting a seat isn't a worry.
Te Kuiti to N/P is 160km and while that is doable without stopping, there is a stop at Awakino Pub for 10-15 mins, primarily for those like yourself.
I will add your name... so now you have to come...

    I don't tent. I need a hotel, b&b or cabin at least.

Could get a bit costly if you book a room for one. Room share will ease the cost...

Yep just go to Whatawhata turn right across the bridge and its about 150 metres on the left. Follow it the whole way and when you get to the T instersection turn right to Pirongia. Its a good road.

Booked! Snapped up one of the ensuite cabims. Just across the coastal walkway from the sea.
