Saw on the news this morning that looters have been going through houses that got hit in the tornado in hobsonville last week. These low life scumbags need a serious lesson, what would you do to them if you had a chance?

I'm left wondering how if even if someone is down on their luck they could go and do this to someone else who is also down on their luck.

Don't know if it's true but I heard that New Orleans police officers who patrolled wrecked areas to deter looters after Katrina started fitting laser sights to the submachineguns they carried.
Seemed like people don't always get fazed by having a gun pointed at them, but if you've got a red dot floating across ya, you assume the position pretty fast.

My initial reaction to these types of lowlifes is a feeling of pure violence towards them. But the world being what it is today, and the whole P.C thing you would never get away with giving them a good kicking. I think some form of public humiliation would be in order, tar and feathering and running around the neighborhoods they were pilferring from would be a good start, but that too would upset many. Whats the answer.
