Honda CBX250RS or GB250 cam timing?

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to set up the cam timing on a CBX250RS / GB250 DOHC motor?

Having trouble aligning the cam wheels & inserting the cam chain sprocket dowel. Is there a trick to holding the tensioner out of the way.

    Regards,

    Anthony

Aren't there two bolts through the block holding the tensioner assembly? If so, drop 'em out

what ducuti said but with my vt 500 found the best bet was if you can just hold down the sliding down bit on the top the cam tensioner that loosen the chain a fraction know what your saying.
