Wtb 250cc sports bike-mid 90s

decided im going to buy a bike

after a cheap sports bike-250cc upto 400cc maybe

must at least have a rego or wof one or the other.

between 500-1000

mid 1990s

eg vt250 etc etc

Did you want the bike to be, you know, working? Cuz you ain't going to find a working mid 90s bike for that price I mean, 3 months rego is worth 250$ alone.

I got a 89 VT 250 Z for sale, wof expired 5/12 reg runs out 22/12, previous owner dropped it so left rear indicator is taped on ..runs sweet, would sell for 1k ( needs funds to send boy to welly for uni next year)

now i know ya want a mid 90's bike but read it backwards it's a 98

$109 for 3 months reg,well thats what my 89 VT 250 cost me,reg on my 05 Wazzi has rolled round yet

Good luck in that price range.

You may get lucky though, I picked up a POS ZZR400K at the start of last year for $800, but it took some work to get reasonable (eg; ZZR600 motor)

dont mind something that needs a lil bit of work as long as it runs etc and not fussed about rego wof at least. and 1990s sorry haha yeah i realise im pushing it abit

Hey, i saw your ad wanting a sports bike. I know you said mid 90s but i have a 1988 CBR250RJ with low kms and in good condition. It is on trademe. Will sell the bike with new rear brakes and tire. Thanks.
