Just finished doing that as a winter project. Decided to build a new retaining wall and a bike shed. problem was breaking up the old drive before I could start anything, so I set to work with a sledge hammer initially, then, after I stuffed up my elbow I bought a jack hammer. Got that done and used much of the rubble as back fill for the retaining wall, Then used most of the rest to build up rockeries alongside the drive. Finished the concreting and after three months of working alone the whole thing is all up and running. The last bits of old concrete will be used up for other rockeries around the garden, I've got an acre of it so no problem in getting rid of it all. Now I need a month's rest to recover. Who said you can take it easy when you retire, Maybe I will, but only when I get old.
