this one time. in band camp.
i saw a woman in some shitty little convertible chuck her ciggy but out the window at the traffic lights. i thought "that's not on", so i chucked my ciggy but in her window and drove off.

    hilarity.

Riding slowly passed a parked car and the cig but still burning was flicked out just missling my face in open face helmet. So in a moment of public spiritedness I stopped picked up what he had dropped and then dropped it still burning on his lap. His arms looked like windmills as I rode off.

Well I've seen a ciggy burn through the pants of a CHiP motorcyclist, he was angry but he didn't pull the driver over as I think he was on his way to sort out Jon & Ponch's latest hoohaa. Can't remember the Chief's name. What a show.

no doubt I could google an old episode to find the incident, but that seems like a lot of work for a thread trol.

I hate people throwing their ciggie butts into the environment, they are bloody toxic and end up in our water ways etc. I look forward to the day that cigarettes are banned in NZ. (I am having a war with a neighbour at a property I have, he keeps flicking his butts still burning over into my yard, nearly had a fire there a few times when it has landed amongst flammable materials).
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

Every year here in paradise ... a roadside fire is started, and put down to a ciggie butt that started it ...

About 10 years ago ... one such fire took quite a few days to control (more to put out) ... and burnt a few thousand hectares ...

Sanctimonious fuckwank... I don't tell you how to live your life. Are they biodegradeable? Coz I think they might be ... How fast do they break down as opposed to condoms or tyres or shopping trolleys etc... are you going to ban safe sex, riding and shopping because they pollute the waterways too? Mebee ya will. Filters in smokes is for amateurs anyway.

I gave up smoking in May after close to 30 years. I remember when I got my first car I used to take it out for a spin before I was legal just to have a fag. Chucked one out of the window and it wasn't until I got home that I smelt something odd. The butt had landed between the back seat and my brand new jacket and burnt the fuck out of both of them.

Have never used the ash tray in a car for its designed purpose. Always chucked them out the window. Always checked for riders as well having been on the receiving end. But then if you have your visor open at open road speeds what do you expect?

Cigarette would just reach though so dipped it in. Fuel soaked all the way up the smoke in about 0.003 of second. Went woof when I lit it and fell apart so quickly I couldn't light another off it. I nearly put the bike on its side to drain some petrol to light a fag I was that desperate.

In-between banning and free-for-all, there's the possibility of simply being a decent human being - and being careful where one disposes of ones shit.

It does indeed and until people start using theirs correctly, I'll do what the fuck I want and you can lump it, I'm in with the in crowd.

@left wing/socialists thinking that freedom means just for them, as some wise sage once said to me "In-between banning and free-for-all, there's the possibility of simply being a decent human being".

Your posts are so full of self-contradiction, it's amusing you think I'm doing that.

I have to admit that it was a very very poor attempt at a troll... my head just isn't in the game at all today. However I do see the hypocrisy in my posts, hard not to when just about every single thing that takes place on this planet goes against my wishes... that and just about any post anyone makes on the internetz is looked at from their individual perspective, with their slant on who or what is making the comment in what context etc... meh.

I agree with your post. Perhaps there should be more ashtrays on the street, perhaps attitudes towards smoking should be less contemptuous and more accepting. Then again in this day and age intolerance gives one righteous powers to deny that another person should be allowed perform a given act. It's hardly surprising that that gets met with a get fucked.
