    It goes round

We got a wonderful surprise delivered today. A large bunch of beautiful flowers, with a lovely, simple little card saying "thank you and happy holidays!"

    How cool.

It came from a young man, (he wrote it and sent it to be delivered with the flowers) from Canada, that we hosted here a couple of years ago. He logged on and used our Visitors to NZ Forum to introduce himself to KB.

Completely reaffirms faith in humanity despite the internet wankers out there.

    Yay! They are so lovely.

Hey even us internet wankers go out of our way to help lost little old ladies during the festive season :P (was a bit of a shock finding her in the back yard though, given I live in a back section)

It does indeed go around, Mom. I believe that same young man sent flowers to another of his hosts today as well.
    What a lovely thought!

Yeah a lovely gesture indeedy! Mine are gorgeous, I love flowers in the house. I do get them sometimes, but usually I buy some to have. My youngest daughter will still pick me flowers from lawns and other peoples gardens and give them to me LOL

Oh, and of course the recipient was a most deserving person, too! Good to hear, Mom!

That wouldn't be Dan by any chance ? If so I've tried to contact him since he left NZ without success. Love to know how he's going - top bloke!

Probably many of the ladies on kiwibiker, despite being biker chickies, would love to be given flowers every now and again.
Although I sometimes get given flowers I enjoy looking out the window at my wilderness and seeing what's growing there.
