Just rode to mangaweka and back by rangiwahia today. Was planning on coming back by vinegar hill but I really enjoyed the twisty stuff going through Rangiwahia. So will probably hope to come back that way. The starting section near mangaweka goes along side cliffs which have made themselves known by depositing a few rocks here and there. Hope you fellas had a good trip, forgot your ride was on. Was up that way exploring about and finally taking the GSXR past the 100000km mark. Saw couple adventure bikes coming up the annie and then a few bikes went past while I was stopped to take this pic.

Some slightly excessive speeds at times!
Of course, being on a cruiser meant I couldn't keep up with the sporty/insane peoples around the corners, but I found my own little groove and had a blast.
Straighter sections of road allowed me to catch up

12 bikes from Waikato heading over that route end of this month (Akld Anniversary weekend )stop in Napier for the night then head around East cape for a nite stop at Waihau Bay then back to the Waikato
