    Skype

    Anyone out there use Skype?
Have got it installed and have been trying to talk to someone overseas who has also installed it - but - cant quite get it to work.Ran the test this end - seems OK All the mic settings etc are ok and I beleive the person at the other end has done likewise. Do you need DSL or similar (we're both currently dial up - although Im in the process of changing) Or what. Have heard of a couple of people that use it with no probs . . .so - any clues, people?

I'm reliably informed that only one party need have broadband for a clear reception.
I'm still waiting for others to sign up. It is brilliant. GET YOUR BUMS INTO TO GEAR!

Have it installed at home. Had no probs so far (funny annoying ppl in china who speak little/no english with it...)

Everyone on mine had dsl though, so i dont know about 56k. Although i had used similar programs on 56k without any hassle...

Have used Skype before, but only on Jetstream, through a router and wireless, same as the person at the other end (they were at a different location). Worked really well but i find dial up is just way to slow.
