    Wanted learner 250

    Hey

Looking around for a sports style bike so I can get back into riding

Not to worried about a few scratches but has to be in good mechanical condition

Wof and reg would be nice (has to have a wof at least)

looking upto spending about 2.8k but depends on the bike

Had a look at an fzr last night but it just wasn't right :s

    Im not huge (73kg 5"11-6")

Possibly looking for someone who is wanting to go to a bigger bike

Not really a fan of the hyos

    Honda
    Kawasaki
    Yamaha etc

Prefer the single headlight version of the fzr

Umm would like something based in the 90's but negotiable

Number is 0275024428 and if I come view ill be bringing a mate to test ride and help me look it over (they are full licensed)

    I have cash

Let me know what you have

Just in case you aren't aware. You don't need to buy a 250 any more.A lot of bigger bikes are now learner approved. (lams)

Hey Frosty yip I am aware of the New lams law just hunting around for something alittle smaller atm as I haven't ridden in ages I could possibly be keen on a 400 however its hard to find a sports style bike bigger then the 250 mark thats lams legal :s also I'll be clocking up alot of kms commuting into work so want something a little less thirsty

Maybe im being fussy at least im trying to play it safe and go for a smaller bike because tbh im very tempted with alot of the 600's that are around atm but I worked out the power per ton for a 06 gsxr600 and its 300kw per ton :S (75kw /250kg (160kg bike+90kg rider (im 73kg btw))*1000) thats 30kw less then my last car

My confidence these days on a bike is very low so don't want to push it much to start off with

Reason im budgeting lower for a 250 is with the lams laws im hoping the prices will have gone down and also it means if i do drop it im less upset about dropping a 2500ish dollar bike compared to say a 6-8k bigger bike

Thanks for the feedback though it is appreciated
