    front forks

Hi Wildat? You might want to take a look at the front forks, they look like they have been reversed, the Speedo and front brakes should come off the right hand side, not the left!

All the Suzuki SB200 models seem to have the cables attached off the same side as mine (as does the factory workshop manual)...would be great to see some photos of yours in case the NZ market model has some oddities!

    Nice bike.
I have one of these that I am doing a restore on. Pretty sad looking compared to yours. Yes I am a bit jealous.
At the moment I cant get a spark so looking for CDI unit. Any suggestions for sourcing one?
My rear guard isnt standard either and really looks a bit ugly so I am looking for a standard rear guard.
But it will be a beaut when done.

My spare one is one of these, best price by miles - didn't sort my no spark issue though...I need to get around to swapping stators but at the moment I'd rather be on my mountain bike!

My work mate is just finishing a resto on his gt200 x7. He is having problems getting spark too, which he has pinpointed to his cdi. He has ordered a brand new unit from some place in the UK. I can ask him you if your interested.

When you do get it sorted do check the regulator isn't chucked, should be separate on a 2 stroke CDI but perhaps over voltage could be taking out CDIs which is common of that era Suzi 4 stroke as charging voltage goes free & spikes out TCI box. Should be sep on yours but just check anyways.
