Dunno if its relevant or not, but reminds me of playing tennis in the Paddington Rec centre in London, with some mates - another Kiwi, and two Canadians. Bunch of young punks were messing round in the bushes by the side of the court, throwing rocks round and chasing the punters. One of the Canadians (big fella, not overly impressed by the punks shinanygins) told them to piss off. They got lippy (were all of around 12 years old, about 6 or 8 of them), started calling him a yank.

I gotta tell ya, havent seen anyone so riled. Well, that is, until they looked at me and my mate and said . . . "fuckin' aussie's . . ."

Also havent seen a bunch of 12 year olds move so quick as when they get two very irate Canadians and two extremely pissed off Kiwi's bearing down on them . . .
