Smile Put the rubber trees up, Grashopper is on the roads

Yep, Grashopper has now a Learners and a bike and is not afraid to use it. Actually, she is, quite a bit, but we're working on it (the bike and I).

My little bike is a Suzuki GN250E, which seems to spend more time in the repair shop than on the road, but for now if will have to do.

If I could afford it, right now I would go for a KTM Duke 200 or a Wolf SB250Ni or something similar, just going by looks and reviews, as I haven't testdriven them. Or maybe a Honda CBF250.

I've been traipsing around this forum for the last 3 or so month and I'm looking forward to meet you all here.

    Have fun and safe riding

    Grashopper

Welcome to the site as a member then. Plenty of less crowded back roads around Taupo to keep you amused. Take care and be brave. Don't push yourself too hard and you should be fine.

    Hi FJRider,

    Thank you for the welcome.

Yeah, I like those non-crowded roads around Taupo. (Unless we break down again like a couple of days ago, not sure there is even reception in some places
They even have some nice corners to crawl around - aehm, practise cornering.

Welcome! Glad to see another bird with a Ginny about!
Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.
