I would like to advise everyone that the loveable Frank Lawrance sadly passed away on Thursday night in his sleep.

Richie Lawrance would like to let all know that the funeral is on Tuesday at 2:00pm, at the Taupo funeral home.

Any questions or wellwishes can be directed to Richie on 027 240 3009. Sadly Chris is away in America on holiday.

I'd known Frank for just short of thirty years and always enjoyed both his company and his commitment to his sport especially living in apart of NZ where there were not a lot of people that followed those sports.
I was lucky enough to spend the best part of a fortnight with Frankie on his beloved Isle of Man in 1994 and his memory of the trip was always tapped into when we chatted over recent times.
Everybody has to go it's the rules and Frankie had suffered some of old ages worst health issues but while it slowed him down he was always trying to get along to the racetrack particulalry with his lads who made him so proud.
I was unable to make the service but beleive their will be another Memorial Service for him in time when Son Chris returns and the wider Motorcycling World can get together and celebrate his life.
    RIP Frankie
