    Wink wisdom needed ;)

    Hey everyone!

Thanx for ur replies Its good to feel welcomed here.
Anyway I gotta question - is there anyone that did their restricted licence in Dunedin recently? I basicly know what it looks like, but would like to know more bout it. Where do they take you, etc.....? Is it very difficult to pass? Cos Im shit nervous.... And if you use 150cc for the test, you can ride 250 later on right?

My poor old mvx has been off road for the last 12 years (!!), the previous owners obviously didnt care bout doin somethin about it. So it was kept in the shed most of the time i guess. I wasnt suppose to ride it, cos i was told the bike is too hard to ride for a young girl, but i showed them i could do it (!), and i kept it. So this year im tryin to re-register it and ride it in summer, and unfortunatelly untill then im stuck without a bike. Thats why i joined in here, to find sum ppl and do (?) some ridin b4 my bike gets fixed ;>

    Talk to you later ;>

dont know about the Dunedin one, and been so long since i did the test anyway so couldn't help ya even If I did know it.

But you can ride anything 250cc and under, so once you get it on the road you'll be away...I can just see it now

And yep I was only reging my bike over summer, mostly to save money cos I wasn't using it much over winter, not much point when the road to town from Governors bay was mostly iced up. Now I'm in the big metropolis might have to consider riding next winter IF i have a bike to ride on that is.
This winter is starting to change my mind, cos hasn't it been a mild one?????? She says with a mere 18 degrees or so outside....altho I hear that the snow is acoming

Now the problem I see is that seeing your excitement about it...I'm feeling even MORE like I should be getting the bike....drat...damn and double damn

Yep belated welcmes from me too
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    Restricted...
they pick you up from whereever the andy bay road VTNZ station has moved to, guy behind you in a car. Watch his indicators because he'll indicate for you to turn. BE VERY CAREFUL because I could only ever see one indicator at any one time so got a telling off.

He'll take you around south dunedin St kilda area, up somerville road or highcliff road, that sort of area, then back down shore st, portsmouth drive and back.

    That help?

Hey man! Yea, it is all correct, 2-stroke, 3-cylinders. And a kick start -> doesnt help when u stall it in a busy intersection

But i havent ridden it for ages, front forks need to be done b4 i re-register it fo the summer.,.,
