To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    lol some things never change...

The best thing in Zimbabwe... is when you park in town little street kids (who are damn dangerous) ask you if they can watch your car until you come back... and you have no choice but to say yes otherwise they trash your car... and to top it off you still have to pay for parking lol

But the best thing I've heard regarding the Street kids was:

A guy went to park in town to do shopping... and he had his dog in the car... street kid comes up to him and says "boss can I watch your car, will make sure no-one steals it", the guy replied "no thanks, my dogs gonna watch my car for me" and the street kid responds with "oh... so your dog can put out fires?"

and the scary part is... they wouldn't hesitate to set the car on fire because you refused to give them $2 to sit on the hood of your car, scratch the paint and leave dents in the bonnet...

    *misses Zimbabwe* *sigh* lol
I'm not a complete idiot... some pieces are missing

Problem is that nobody has thier windows open cause people reach in and rip jewlery off you so it is a catch 22 for beggars. Ahh the good old days. Seen some pretty funny signs but those two are good.
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day

Teach him to how to go fishing, feed him for a lifetime

OR as Stephen Tindall would put it:

Dont give a man a handout

    Give him a hand up
ITS NOT GETTING WHAT YOU WANT,BUT WANTING WHAT YOUVE GOT

lol I was being sarcastic (sp)

Pretty much the only thing about Zimbabwe that I miss is Lake Kariba and the wildlife... the rest is in the past and I'm happy with my new home

Better version is "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and get rid of him for days on end!"

I could help out the first guy, the one with 16 wives and 35 kids. I reckon a well-aimed kick in the nuts would stop him feeling horny and breeding!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    Matel have announced a new Barbie doll;
She comes with no clothes, no accessories, no home and no future.
    She is called Zim Barbie.

I prefer: Light a fire for a man, keep him warm for a day. Light a man on fire, keep him warm for the rest ofhis life.
