    How lucky am I

Thanks to Skunk, Hells and the rest of the crew for putting on a great weekend.

Big thanks to Bert and Extra special HUGE THANKS to Mike Chandler for completely saving my weekend - my bike pulled two head studs (which had already been helicoiled) in the first practice on Saturday , Mike very quickly offered to go home and get some tools to fit the oversize studs that Bert the Legend found in his box of spares.

If that was not cool enough when two more helicoiled studs pulled, Mike MADE four oversize studs and set me up with a Tap so I could fit them.

MIKE YOU ARE A LEGEND , thank you for saving my weekend - Six hours driving for six laps would have been a real shit

Welly Bucket Crew are the best , thank you.

I blew up my bike and crashed 3 times.

    Fantastic weekend!

Really, no sarcasm there I had a really great time with a great bunch of people.

Hopefully I can patch up the bike for Te Puke...

I seized my bike and crashed three less times than Koba and also had a brilliant trip away. Great times at Hels and Malcs again with a top mob, thanks for putting five of us up for the weekend. Bring on Te Puke.

I have to admit you Wellington guys rock!! All this good fun can only happen when good people go out of there way, so thank you to all involved, big thanks to Henk for taking all my gear and Helen and Malcolm for letting us stay, the big trip was worth every penny and the racing as always was intense, the track is great fun but difficult to get every corner right very technical, love it!!

Awesome footage Rich, Clives CBR150 is pretty impressive for a stock bike! A couple more ponies and it could be a weapon!

Hey Rick, again thanks for the spin on your bike, it's an awesome setup. Did you have any luck with gearing?

No probs Glen, It was good to get such good feed back ..Suday morning changed the gearing from a 13t to 14t and it was great from the bottom to the top but bad top to bottom of the track so I changed back to 13, I think 2t of the back could have been better, I think I need to ride the bike harder and get more aggresive but Im having a great time doing what Im doing so not all bad!!

Watching Rich and Glen around that track would make pretty much anyone look slow!

huh! that's not how - or even where I remember it happening. Funny thing about human recollection, it is very faulty. Think I had added a sequence where I had almost hit Regan a couple of times.

I was riding terribly in that first race, but fortunately it doesn't show up so bad, in fact I wouldn't mind a soft copy some time.

You're still pulling me in at the end of the straights.oh well more work to be done. Stator at rewinders now, lets see if that's the issue.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Yeah until I saw it I was thinking it was all happened different. Well no I know where to look for marks on the track. In the first video I posted ( filmed later in the day ) you can see the marks left by the crash. Not sure of the track damage but the bike was undamaged. I will be making an effort to put even more protection on the bike.

I've watched that last 10 sec sequence again & again. Maybe time for a brake upgrade?
